Fresh, vibrant ingredients meet rich, slow-cooked flavours.
After years working as a bartender, D. Dawoud developed a cooking style influenced by citrus, herbs and fresh ingredients, bringing brightness and balance to rich, slow-cooked dishes.
He approached me to create an identity that would distinguish him in the competitive private dining market. It would have to capture his philosophy of "Home cooking, elevated" and the warm, personal experience he brings to every event.
I translated this contrast into fresh lime green and deep brown to balance youthful energy with refinement. Dawoud wanted the identity to feel distinctly his, so the mark incorporates two of his signatures — his recognisable beard and chef’s knife.
